FAT BURNING FOODS: FANTASY OR FACT?                    

In our world today, where access to information is now available at the click of a mouse and it is quite easy to stumble upon with the variety of Myths, specifically on the foods that will help you to Lose Weight.

To start with, vinegar to grapefruit and pineapples to warm water, there is a range of rumors and Half-truths that are in circulation today – with all the praises of the potential Benefits of the things that will help you to burn fat by simply eating or drinking them. But, is it really true that there are foods that burn would actually burn fat in your body?

Here is a detailed breakdown of the myths that surround the foods and drinks that are supposed to possess fat burning benefits:

Myth #1: Grapefruit gets you thin!

Fact: Grapefruit will not directly cause you to burn fat. But it is considered very Healthy as it contains vitamin C and fiber, which makes you feel full faster and has a positive effect on the sugar absorption system in your body.

Myth #2: Magic Cabbage soup burns fat and makes you lose weight!

Fact: Contrary to what you may have heard, no food by itself can burn body fat. Actually, the temporary loss of weight that you may experience is due to a loss of water loss and not fat. Besides, eating only one type of food or drinking or having a soup for a week will have serious negative effects on your health. The good thing is that start your meal with a fulfilling soup, will help you to reduce the amount of food you eat during your meal, in other words, this will reduce your calorie consumption.

Myth #3: Vinegar in the morning is a very good fat burner

Fact: Not really. Most importantly, you should remember this, having or consuming a Vinegar  on an empty stomach, can cause a stomach ulcer rather than burn extra fat in your body.

Myth #4: Warm water when you wake up dissolves excess fat

Fact: Warm or cold is just the same. Because, water has the same temperature as your body when you drink it, which is why it doesn’t really ‘melt’ or burn the fat. But it does help you to rid all your body from toxins and process the body work efficiently. So, Drinking Water will help YOU to contribute to weight loss with a healthy diet plan.

Myth #5: Pineapple breaks down fat in the food you eat

Fact: Pineapple is a much publicised fruit for its Fat Burning Properties. Because, prickly tropical fruit contains the Bromelain Enzyme, thats helps you to split fat.

However, the truth about this, is that it really helps to the process of  digesting protein. And since Pineapples, has a low calories and very rich in fibre to make you feel full faster. And this is a great fruit to incorporate with your balanced weight loss diet.

Myth #6: Caffeinated Beverages can help burn fat

Fact: The common claims that Caffeine really burns fat and speeds up your metabolism are UNTRUE.  Actually,  the truth is that Caffeine is a mild stimulant that will help you stay alert and gives you a boost for the day.

The Truth about fat burning food

It is believed that the fat burning foods, will speed up the metabolism and can promote your weight loss faster. This claim is FALSE. Any meal in genera, can provide you with a temporary boost in your metabolism.  Due to the thermic effect of food that you consumed. And this is very TRUE in the context of a mixed diet, where the differences among the foods are very minimal to be noticed.

The best way to help you speed up your Metabolic Rate, is with your daily exercise. This will help you to increase your muscle mass and decrease your fat deposits. So you should  remember that, Losing Weight in the most healthy way and maintaining it with a balanced diet is the best way to have a Healthy Lifestyle.

Good to remember: Fad diets and unhealthy practices, that is focusing on one kind of food can seriously jeopardize your health. Instead of doing this, you should have to follow sound nutrition advice and maintain a moderate low calorie and low fat diet in order to achieve your weight loss goals.
